This entry started as an offshoot of another idea presented in: Clay-Pidgin: A TCP based message queuing for Tcl/Tk.
Yes, yes, I know of projects like Rabbit MQ. They all require a server. Or to have their secret sauce compiled into the application itself, to make the application itself a server. The problem for me is that by the time I understand any of them, I either find out they are complete toys, or they require so much setup the the config files start getting higher in line count than the equivilent Tcl script to implement the idea from first principles.
