Yesterday there was a story on Cloud computing on SlashDot that got me to thinking about Cloud Computing as a concept. While I have seen it used to great effect, most of what is being pitched as "the future" is taking us back to the days of the Mainframe. Read More
And I ran across a great article from Wired Magazine about how the "Vaccination is evil" movement is causing real death and injury to kids, by trying to protect them from imagined harm. "Great" as in well written. The story itself is pretty sad. Read More
And I've been noticing my inbox has been flooded with job sites. My first thought is "Oh, the economy must be getting better." Then I realized... my inbox is also full of dating sites. Sure, there are 30,000 positions out there, but odds are they are looking for someone younger and who doesn't have kids.
