Quote of the Day
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year's everyone. Sorry for the gap in installments. December was a whacky month on a few levels.
Less ambition, more content
Well, I think part of my problem is that I tend to overdo it on the enthusiasm some days. To keep from psyching myself out, how about I stop trying to produce something epic every day. And instead, I'll just keep it short, witty, and occasionally wise.
And in keeping with my New Years Resolution from 2000, I will not make a New Years Resolution for 2010. Hey, if it's a good idea, I should be doing it resolutions or not. Right? (Cue the chorus of cop out).
But seriously, I do understand that being in the moment can motivate people to do things that wouldn't otherwise have the strength to do. But the problem with most resolutions that people make, is that they are supposed to break a bad habit. But in the process, they fall into a habit of making promises they can't keep, the inevitable happens, and they are even more discouraged the next year. And, they are also perpetuating a bad habit...
Or at least that's my $0.02
Back to the party.
